Will It Hold Your Phone?

A magnetic car charger needs magnets on the phone. A MagSafe iPhone (12 and later) attaches straight away, and so does any case with a built-in magnet ring. Android phones and plain cases need a magnetic ring stuck to the back first - and note that with a wireless charger the ring must be the correct type, with a clear centre, or it will block charging. Getting the Full 15W

Wireless charging in the car draws its power from the cigarette lighter socket, so the car adapter you plug it into matters. A weak 5W adapter will not deliver 15W to the phone no matter what the holder is rated for. Use a 20W or higher car charger to see the full speed - we stock them, and it is worth pairing the two.
