Half brightness is the mode that matters here. On full output you get 5-6 hours, but at half you stretch it much further - enough to cover a long evening outage without touching the charger. Because it also runs while plugged in, a small power bank turns it into effectively unlimited light. A Note on the Light Colour

At 9000-10000K this is a cool blue-white light, not a warm yellow one. That is deliberate - cool white reads as brighter to the eye and is better for working, cooking or finding things. If you want soft ambient lighting for a living room, this is not that lamp. For utility and emergencies, it is exactly right.
