The Yesido YAU25 is a two-way Bluetooth adapter with a 3.5mm plug. In receiver mode it adds Bluetooth to anything with an AUX socket - an older car stereo, a wired speaker, a hi-fi - so you can stream from your phone without a cable. Flip it to transmitter mode and it does the reverse, sending audio from a device that has no Bluetooth of its own, like a gym treadmill, an old TV or an in-flight screen, to your wireless headphones.

The Main Use in Lebanon: Older Cars

Most cars on the road here have an AUX socket and no Bluetooth. Plug the YAU25 into that socket in RX mode, pair your phone once, and you have wireless music and podcasts in a car that never shipped with it - for a fraction of the cost of a new head unit, and with nothing to install. It runs off its own battery, so it does not tie up your cigarette lighter socket.

One Thing to Know

It charges over micro-USB, not Type-C. Most of what you own now probably uses Type-C, so keep the supplied cable with it or you will find yourself hunting for an old one. Worth knowing before you buy rather than after.
