In a dark room it gives you a large, watchable picture. In daylight, or with a lamp on, the image will look washed out - that is true of every projector at this brightness and price, and it is the main reason people are disappointed by budget projectors. There is no built-in Android, so no app store on the projector. For most people that is fine - you mirror from the device you already use. Be aware that some streaming apps block wireless mirroring for copyright reasons; connecting by HDMI cable, or plugging in a TV stick, gets around that.
